Travel Guide
At GAIA, we ensure that reaching our festival is stress-free and enjoyable. Choose your preferred way to arrive: by bus, air, or road, and follow our easy-to-navigate directions to find your way to the venue. We look forward to welcoming you!
By Air
Fly into Bhuntar Airport for the fastest arrival – it's just a 30-minute drive to the festival site at Neeralaya. Alternatively, fly into Chandigarh Airport and enjoy a scenic 4.5-hour road trip to reach us. Both routes offer beautiful Himalayan landscapes along the way.
By Train
The nearest major railway access is via Chandigarh Railway Station. From there, you can take a taxi or hop on a bus to Kullu or Manali, then continue to the festival site at Neeralaya. Advance booking is recommended during peak seasons.
By Bus
Regular buses run from Chandigarh to Kullu (30 minutes from the venue) and Chandigarh to Manali (55 minutes from the venue). Buses are available day and night, offering scenic, affordable travel. The same routes also run from New Delhi to Kullu/Manali, with similar arrival options.
By Car
Road tripping to GAIA? Set your destination to Neeralaya, Raison, Himachal Pradesh. It’s a 4.5-hour drive from Chandigarh and about 10 hours from New Delhi. We recommend starting early and taking breaks to soak in the mountain beauty.
Is there medical assistance on-site?
Yes. We’ll have a first-aid & emergency response team available throughout the festival. Safety and well-being are our top priority.
What’s the weather like during GAIA?
October in Raison is typically pleasant in the day (18-22°C) and cooler in the evenings (12–16°C). Carry light layers, and a warm jacket for nighttime.
Can I re-enter the venue if I step out?
Yes, re-entry is permitted, but you’ll be required to show your wristband and undergo a quick security check.
Will there be food and beverages inside the festival?
Yes. Our Feast Trail features curated food stalls offering regional and global cuisines, along with cocktail bars, zero-proof options, caffeine corners, and hydration booths.
What time does the festival start on October 24th?
Check-in begins at 10 AM, with programming starting from 12 noon on 24th October and starts at 8am on 25th October onwards — including wellness sessions, music, and art experiences. Exact schedule will be shared closer to the date.
What makes GAIA different from other festivals?
GAIA is more than a lineup — it’s a living ritual. Where music, nature, wellness, and art converge in the Himalayas. It’s not escape — it’s return
Can I come alone?
Yes! Many of our guests come solo. GAIA is built for connection — you’ll arrive alone and leave with a tribe.
Will alcohol be available?
Yes. You’ll find cocktail bars, straight pours, zero-proof beverages, and hydration stations across the venue.
What’s the refund or cancellation policy?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Is GAIA sustainable? What are you doing to reduce impact?
GAIA is committed to sustainability:

Is there Wi-Fi or phone network?
Network can be patchy, which makes GAIA the perfect place to unplug and be present. Trust the signal of the forest.
Is the festival pet-friendly?
Yes, GAIA is pet-friendly. While we don’t have a designated pet zone, the venue offers plenty of shaded areas, and feeding/hydration stations for your furry companions.
What should I pack?
October brings crisp mountain evenings. We recommend:
Warm clothes / jacket
Comfortable footwear
Water bottle
Sunscreen
A shawl / mat for wellness sessions
An open heart and curious mind
Can I bring my kids?
Yes! GAIA is kid-friendly. Children under 10 years can attend free of charge. A ticket is required for ages 10 and above.
What kind of music can I expect?
Expect a genre-fluid journey across 3 immersive stages — blending live music, electronica, tribal rhythms, house, techno, disco, dance music, and beyond. Carefully curated for movement, ritual, and sonic storytelling.
Is GAIA a camping festival? Where can I stay?
While GAIA is not a camping festival by default, we offer curated accommodation packages including tent and campsite options near the venue, along with boutique stays. You can book through our official link.
What does my ticket include?
Your GAIA pass grants access to all music stages, wellness sessions, art exhibits, and rituals for two days.
How do I get there? Is travel included in the ticket?
Travel is not included. Here are some ways to reach:

Chandigarh → Neeralaya – 4.5 hours
New Delhi → Neeralaya – 9 hours
By Air
Bhuntar Airport → Neeralaya – 30 mins
